Ambulance driver taken to hospital after crash in Nottingham
 

An ambulance driver was taken to hospital after his vehicle was involved in a crash with a 4x4.
Valley Road, in Basford, was closed for more than two hours at its junction with Radford Road after the collision, which happened at about 6.15am on Monday morning.
The ambulance was on an emergency call at the time of the incident, however the patient on board was safely taken to the Queen's Medical Centre by another vehicle.
