Ambulance centre fire treated as arson

FIREFIGHTERS were able salvage an ambulance centre in Chadderton on Sunday night.
Three pumps from Oldham arrived shortly after 6.30pm at St John's Ambulance Centre, in Busk Road, to reports that the bins attached to the end of building had been set alight.
A few of the windows had cracked and there was some damage to the roof but fire services were able to stop the blaze from spreading further.
They were there for around 90 minutes.
Residents claimed to have seen youths in and around the site.
Police say it is being treated as arson and are now investigating.
