Amazon to battle the bodega: Shopping giant to open convenience stores and even a drive through to sell groceries

Amazon plans to launch convenience stores and drive-in locations for AmazonFresh members in a bid to become a major player in the competitive grocery business.
The brick-and-mortar stores, known internally as Project Como, will sell fresh produce, milk, meats and other perishables, reports The Wall Street Journal.
People close to the matter revealed that customers will be able to order items with longer shelf lives for same-day delivery using a mobile app or touch screens placed throughout stores.
