Allied Healthcare Hull in special measures after 'neglect' of elderly people



A care firm has been placed in special measures after more than 400 calls to vulnerable people were missed, staff failed to turn up on time, visits were cut short and records were falsified.
Allied Healthcare Hull was appointed by Hull City Council earlier this year to look after people in their own homes and was one of the firms paying carers by the minute for house calls.
