ALEX Salmond once proudly boasted of his ability to put “a gloss on statistics or any economic figure” to build a political case.
It seems he thinks he’s just too clever, that ordinary voters aren’t smart enough to spot when he’s trying to mislead us.
His misplaced arrogance was much in evidence last weekend as he scoffed and chuckled his way through a Saturday morning interview on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Pienaar’s Politics.
