Alastair Cook has admitted he doesn’t yet know which of Haseeb Hameed and Ben Duckett he will open the batting with in Thursday’s first Test against Bangladesh.
The England captain, who underwent a lone net session earlier today after arriving in Chittagong on Monday following the birth of his second daughter, has already been through eight different opening partners since the retirement of Andrew Strauss four years ago.
And both players have made good cases for winning their first Test caps.
