Airdrie murder victim named as police appeal to public in hunt for killer
 

POLICE Scotland have launched a murder investigation after a 40-year-old man was found dead in a flat in Airdrie .
The body of Malcolm McLaren was found in Clark Street near the centre of the town at around 10:25am on Thursday.
Police have appealed for information from the public as they carry out door-to-door inquiries.
