After Danny Willett hits US spectator on the head he’s dropped from opening session of the Ryder Cup
After his brother made some less than helpful comments about fans of the United States’ Ryder Cup team, Danny Willett would have been keen to keep a low profile and get on with his game in Hazeltine.
So hitting one of those fans on the head with an errant shot probably wouldn’t have been a good idea. Unfortunately for the Masters champ, that’s exactly what happened during practice on the eve of the tournament
In fact it was such a bad idea that it probably contributed to him being left out of the Friday’s opening session by European captain Darren Clarke.
