After 30 years of proudly perming his hair, Bill's braved the shave



THE owner of the Deepdale Garden Centre in Barton had his head shaved to raise money for charity.
Bill Faulding, 52, has proudly had his hair permed for the last 30 years, but decided to have his well looked-after barnet shaved off for Macmillan nurses.
He sadly lost both his parents to cancer and has also lost other family members and friends to the disease.
After spotting the Brave the Shave campaign earlier this year, Bill decided to take the plunge.
He raised £500 from the head shave, which took place on Saturday, September 24.
