​Aerial views of Clarendon Park from the top of this bell tower



Clarendon Park is one of the best-known areas in the south of Leicester – but here are some views rarely seen before.
These photographs are the work of Alex Hannam, well-known for his skill in taking sights of the city from on high.
To take them, he was granted permission to use the bell tower of Avenue Primary School, which is currently being renovated, as a vantage point.
Site manager Mark Dillow said the 200-year-old bell tower had fallen into disrepair over the years and his company, Stone Edge, had been carrying out renovations since July.
