Olympic Gold Medal winner Adam Peaty was given the Freedom of the City of Derby in an event packed with pomp and ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
The City of Derby swimmer broke a world record twice on his way to claiming his 100m breaststroke title at the Rio de Janeiro Games this summer.
Adam was part of the hugely successful Team GB that finished second overall in the medals table behind USA.
