Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes convinced Graeme Shinnie will play his way into the Scotland set-up
 

ABERDEEN boss Derek McInnes has backed Graeme Shinnie to earn a Scotland call-up.
The 25-year-old, who signed from Inverness last summer, has impressed in a new midfield role at Pittodrie after playing at left-back in the Highlands.
Gordon Strachan will today name his squad for next month’s World Cup qualifiers against Lithuania and Slovakia and McInnes believes Shinnie’s on the verge of joining Reds and Northern Ireland ace Niall McGinn in playing at international level.
