The 36-year-old was without a club when he arrived in France for his country’s first major tournament in 30 years.
But the former Newcastle, Fulham and Melbourne defender is now skippering Indian Super League Kerala Blasters and looking forward to playing a part in Northern Ireland’s bid to make it to the World Cup in Russia.
