A55 overturned lorry crash causes traffic misery

A lorry overturned and crashed on the A55 in the early hours of this morning which caused long delays at rush hour.
The vehicle flipped onto its side at roughly 4.30am at Abergwyngregyn close to junction 12 (for Talybont) on the eastbound carriageway, blocking one lane.
No one was seriously injured.
At roughly 7.30am the recovery effort began with a lane closure westbound to allow the specialist vehicles the space to right the lorry.
At 8am there was a full closure both east and westbound.
Half an hour later both lanes were re-opened westbound with heavy traffic queues in the area.
