A50 and A38 cleared after trailer fire and van breakdown

The A50 and A38 have both cleared and all lanes are open again after a fire and breakdown earlier this morning.
At around 3am this morning a trailer fire created heavy traffic after flames damaged the road – despite firefighters putting the blaze out quickly. The trailer sat in lane one of the A50 eastbound between junctions four and three.
But police and firefighters left the scene by 10.45am and traffic cleared up after all lanes were reopened.
