A5 blocked in Staffordshire after jack-knifed lorry leaks diesel onto road
 

Drivers in Staffordshire were hit by severe disruption after a main road was blocked for several hours by a fuel spill.
The incident happened after a crash involving a lorry on the A38 between Weeford Island and the B5404 at around 11.30am on Wednesday.
The vehicle jack-knifed in the accident, leaking around 100 litres of diesel onto the road.
The eastbound carriageway had to be closed while the lorry was recovered and clean-up work took place, with drivers being diverted via other local routes.
