'A total whitewash': Mothers' fury at lack of results from Primodos pregnancy drug probe into birth defects link
 

A MAJOR inquiry into a drug linked to thousands of birth defects has been branded “a complete whitewash” by MPs.
The Record has led the way in reporting on Scots affected by Primodos – given to women as a pregnancy test up to the 1980s.
An independent inquiry into the use of oral hormone pregnancy tests such as Primodos, which was given to an estimated 1.5million women in the UK, was set up in 2014.
