'A kiss and hug and we never saw him again'
 

The sister of a man feared murdered after disappearing 17 years ago has said: “We gave him a kiss and a hug...and never saw him again.”
Martin Joyce - a father-of-one who would now be 45 - went missing aged 29 in September 1999. Detectives have now launched a murder investigation and forensic examiners have been digging and searching inside the former Bank of England pub in Ancoats .
Martin’s family say their ‘hearts are broken’ but they have ‘great belief’ that he is still alive.
