'A credit to their club again' - West Midlands Police's message to Birmingham City fans after Aston Villa match



Birmingham City supporters were described as a 'credit to their club' by West Midlands Police after derby day passed with no away arrests.
In a fixture that has previously been marred by violence, the force were quick to praise Blues fans after the 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
2100 visiting supporters made the short hop across the city to attend the match which was settled by goals from Albert Adomah and Conor Hourihane.
No Blues fans were arrested or ejected in the previous derby at Villa in April which led to a slight increase in the allocation of tickets given to away fans in Second City... read more
