'A child could be next' Pet owner warns parents after savage dog ripped apart her Labrador's neck
 

A dog owner has issued a warning for parents and pet owners after her Labrador was savaged while out on a walk.
Seven-year-old golden lab Poppy was enjoying a walk in the village of Old Kilpatrick near Clydebank when another dog jumped on her and began ripping at her neck.
Poppy was left covered in blood with serious injuries and is lucky to be alive.
Owner Sharon Docherty, 47, from Clydebank says if her nine-year-old daughter or another child had been caught up in the fight, they 'wouldn't have stood a chance' and has issued a warning for other pet owners.
