7 places to go birdwatching in North Wales this Christmas



If you’re thinking about some birdwatching over the Christmas break, here are a few ideas based on recent sightings.
Holy Island RSPB South Stack is always worth a look; a Black Redstart was here last week.
Three Firecrests fed in brambles at Silver Bay, east of Rhoscolyn, on Sunday.
Beddmanarch Bay/Inland Sea, Anglesey Up to 13 Scaup, a Long-tailed Duck, two Slavonian Grebes and three Great Northern Divers are currently here.
View them from Penrhos Coastal Park or the east bank at Four Mile Bridge.
