68-year-old man stabbed to the head with a knife in 'scuffle' with stepson
A 68-year-old man was knifed to the head during a “scuffle” with his stepson, a court heard.
Christopher Devlin, 37, left his stepfather in a pool of blood from a wound to his temple after a row between the pair turned violent.
He blamed his stepdad for the break-up of the marriage with his mother months earlier and for “ruining his life”, Teesside Crown Court was told today.
The men argued the day before completion of the disputed sale of the former matrimonial home, said prosecutor Harry Hadfield.
