50ft carcass of endangered whale washes up on Devon beach
 

The rotting carcass of a 50ft endangered wale has washed up on a beach in Devon this morning.
Horse lover gets to ride horse for one final time as her dying wish is granted Experts believe it to be a fin whale – the second largest animal after the blue whale.
Coastguards at Red Rock beach had been tracking the huge beast as it drifted down the coast – initially mistaking it for an upturned boat.
It attracted a large crowd of onlookers this morning after the badly decomposed whale washed up ashore at 8am, with some witnesses saying the smell was pungent.
