500 Boots jobs in Nottingham to go
 

Boots is to offer 500 staff voluntary redundancy as part of wider plans to cut 700 jobs.
The axe will fall mainly on support staff at its Beeston head office but some field staff across the country could also be affected.
The company announced last year that it would cut 700 roles. Around 200 positions have already gone, largely through retirements and by people leaving for other jobs.
Boots UK, part of Walgreens Boots Alliance, employs more than 8,000 people in Nottingham.
