£50,000 investment for Scunthorpe town centre traffic lights

TRAFFICS lights in Scunthorpe town centre are to be improved with an investment of £50,000.
North Lincolnshire Council is investing in the lights at the junction of Mary Street and Oswald Road following the successful refurbishment of lights at Britannia Corner in August.
The traffic lights currently in place require a lot of maintenance, therefore the new lights will reduce the amount of time needed to look after the lights and reduce the risk of the traffic signals failing.
Work is due to start on Monday October 17 and is expected to take four weeks.
