47-year-old man sentenced for sending threatening text messages



THE following cases were dealt with at North Lincolnshire Magistrates' Court:
DARREN HALEY , 44, of Winn Street, Scunthorpe, was found guilty of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was given a 12-month community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £300.
WILLIAM JASON BESWICK , 47, of High Street, Barrow-Upon-Humber, pleaded guilty to causing someone to fear violence would be used against them by repeatedly sending unwanted text messages. He was given a 12-month community order with a... read more
