£40 fine for parking in Tesco's disabled bays as clamp down starts



Tesco has launched its new scheme, targeting shoppers who park in designated disabled and family parking bays, in 81 of its stores across the country.
Staff at the supermarket chain have been armed with a special smartphone app so they can record infractions by selfish drivers.
Tesco staff will use the app to take pictures of vehicles parked in disabled bays without Blue Badges or taking up spaces designated for parents with children under 12.
The evidence collected will be sent to Horizon Parking.
