£40,000 cash injection for children's hospital services



Leicester Children's Hospital has received a £40,000 cash injection thanks to fund raisers in the community.
An appeal by Masjid Al Falah and the Federation of Muslim Organisations, Leicestershire (FMO) has raised £20,000.
The money was collected in just three weeks and it is to be used for a special scanner to be used at Glenfield Hospital.
It is a portable machine to help doctors to treat heart patients
