£4.5M funding for Rhyl waterfront project given the go-ahead
 

A £4.5M investment in the first phase of Rhyl’s waterfront regeneration programme has been given the go-ahead.
This morning, cabinet members from Denbighshire Council gave funding for the scheme the green light.
The money will be used to pay for the demolition of the Sun Centre and improvements to the adjoining Pavilion Theatre .
The east car park will be refurbished with the cash along with the Children’s Village car park.
The Sky Tower will be “enhanced”, a unit at the Children’s Village will be demolished and funds will go towards design fees for the proposed aquatic centre.
