35-year-old woman crashed into ditch while almost three times the drink-drive limit



A WOMAN who made the "ludicrously stupid decision" to drive after a heavy drinking session later crashed her car into a ditch, a court heard.
Sarah Davidson, 35, of Leggott Way, Stallingborough, admitted drink-driving on September 10.
Brendan Woodward, prosecuting, told Grimsby Magistrates' Court that police spotted a car in a ditch at the end of a dirt track, off the A180, near Stallingborough, at about 12.30am.
Davidson was very drunk and a breath test revealed she had a "very high reading" of 102mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
