200 jobs at risk as Sainsbury's to close at Merry Hill
 

Sainsbury's is to shut one of its branches in the Black Country, leaving nearly 200 jobs at risk.
The retail giant has announced that its store at Merry Hill will close on December 30.
More than 190 staff work there and are now waiting to hear their fate.
Sainsbury’s said it was hoping to find them alternative jobs at other sites.
The branch opened in October 1989 and is one of the chain’s medium-sized stores.
