Seeing the Northern Lights is something that’s probably on most people’s travel bucket lists. Mother Nature’s light show – also known as Aurora Borealis –  happens when electrons from the solar wind collide above earth, creating dancing, coloured rays of light.
You’ve got a chance of seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Canada, Alaska and Greenland. Basically, you need to get closer to the North Pole and head somewhere with minimal light pollution. So like, not London.
