11 years for teenager who raped woman as she walked her dog
 

A teenager who admitted raping and attacking a woman as she walked her dog has been jailed for 11 years.
The victim, who was in her 50s, was subjected to a catalogue of violence after the 18-year-old youth pounced on her at night in Workington.
At Carlisle Crown Court, Jack Ian Walker, 18, of Dean Street, Workington, admitted five offences before Judge Peter Davies.
Passing sentence, Judge Davies told the teenager that he posed a risk to women following what had been a "savage and brutal attack."
